Barossa Valley - premier wine region of S. Australia

Leaving Hawker we headed for Barossa Valley, a well known wine region of South Australia just about 70km N.E. of Adelaide. It is high on my visit list.

It drizzled a bit on the way and we were treated sight of a full rainbow, end to end touched ground!

The right end is rather faint.. just behind the vehicle on tow.

There are many wine families here, ones I am familiar with are Jacob's Creek & Wolf Blass.

Jacob's Creek visitor center cum restaurant has a simple yet elegant designs.

Wine casts decorates the grounds.

Panoramic view of Jacob's Creek vineyard.

History of its founding fathers.

Lisa checking out German sausages at Barossa Wurst Haus & Bakery.

Camp grounds at Tanunda, a charming town in the valley where we stayed. Some have been living here for years.. not a bad idea!

Some sights around town.

Love to be back again!
